Bring Festive Lights to Earlsfield!

Ok, so the height of summer may not be the time to have Christmas at the forefront of your minds. However, there is a good reason why you should. Members of the Earlsfield Business Network, in partnership with the Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce, have recently launched a campaign to bring festive lights to Earlsfield this Christmas.

Not only would the lights bring festive cheer and goodwill to our wonderful community, it is also felt they would help boost the local economy.

Their proposal involves lights being installed on lamp columns along Garratt Lane between Earlsfield Road and Isis Street for approximately five weeks during the Christmas and New Year period.

Make a donation

The Earlsfield Business Network is currently calling on local businesses to help finance the initiative, which is estimated to cost £10k in the first year and £5k for remaining years. However, there’s nothing stopping residents supporting the initiative! For details of how to donate go to: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/earlsfield-festive-lights-fundraising-campaign-2015-tickets-17481576867

All contributors will automatically become part of the Earlsfield Business Network Traders’ Association and will be invited to work with colleagues in the planning and fund raising process. Any spending of surplus funds will be decided on by the Traders Association Committee and for example, could be put towards an Earlsfield Christmas Fair.
