Help launch the Nicholas Stewart Trust in Earlsfield

Residents have the opportunity to support a new initiative to support young people in Earlsfield.

Nicholas Stewart was a young Earlsfield resident who was tragically murdered on the Henry Prince Estate in August 2014. He was 24 years old.

His family and friends want to set up a charitable trust in his memory to help provide training and employment opportunities for young people, as well as other youth services that are missing in the area.

A committee has already been formed, comprising local residents and young people from the estate. They will be hosting a fundraising dinner on Saturday 25th April, 7.30pm at the St John the Divine Church, Garratt Lane.

The event will help generate funds to get the trust up and running, ready for a formal launch in August.

Tickets are £20 per head and can be purchased from Rev. Colin Roberts. To buy a ticket or find out more about the Trust please contact Colin on 07967 293 828 or viva.stjohns@btinternet.com
